Relaxation has never been in my vocabulary, it's not something that comes natural to me. It wasn't until about six months ago that I had to learn how to relax. I was taught at a young age that you need to keep yourself busy all the time and even though I know that's nearly impossible, I was always pushing my limits.
I tried to complete the exercise that was discussed in the course seminar, but found myself unable to really relax and keep all distractions away. I can start off by trying to accomplish the assignment, but then get bored and easily feel the need to think about everything else I could be doing at that moment in time.
I'm hopeful that I will soon learn how to meditate and relax without any distractions.
I look forward to reading your feedback....

It is difficult to change the patterns we were raised with when we were taught to "keep moving". I used to be just that way until I realized that no matter how fast I go things will still move forward, I knew that I could never really "catch up" to life. I had to slow down and let life catch up with me. I started slowly, that is my recommendation to you...take it slow, one step at a time and you will find the right pace for you and eventually you will be able to relax your mind and not have it wander off without you. =D
